About Girl Geeks

Girl Geeks is a youth training organization dedicated to teenage girls. We provide mentorship and leadership training designed to empower, educate, and build courageous young women. Our goal is to teach girls how to embrace their geek and turn their passion for learning and innovating into an entrepreneurial journey.

Our vision is to be a platform for girls to become entrepreneurs and change the world.

Our program boosts girls’ self-esteem and courage as they navigate through school and face issues with bullying, fostering friendships, and maintaining healthy habits. We educate our girls in the areas of financial literacy, education and career planning, business administration and entrepreneurship. Our girls receive access to technology and other tools to gain hands-on experience with running their own business. Our pilot Girl Geeks group completed their entrepreneurship journey during the summer of 2014.

“Courage is the most important of all the virtues because without courage, you can’t practice any other virtue consistently” – Maya Angelou

Girl Geeks also offers training to middle and high school age youth in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. We partner with schools and other organizations to bring our program on-site. To start a Girl Geeks program at your school or organization, please contact Natina Adams [at] forgirlgeeks@gmail.com.
